Wie auf der Interocean 73 in Düsseldorf hatte die Verkaufsabteilung der PRAKLA-SEISMOS einen Ausstellungsstand auf der Oceanexpo, die vom 1.-6. Oktober 1974 in Bordeaux stattfand. Ausgestellt wurde das gesamte Verkaufsprogramm Meerestechnik, das auf Schautafeln wie folgt dargestellt wurde: Integriertes Navigations-und Datenerfassungssystem mit automatischer Schiffssteuerung INDAS, Datenerfassungssystem zur hydrographischen Vermessung in großer und kleiner Ausführung d. h. mit und ohne on-line Datenverarbeitung, sowie ein Modell unseres FS "PROSPEKTA". Weitere Informationen erhielten die Besucher mit Bildern und Beschreibungen des Seismikund Rasterplotters KPUB, der ANA-Anlage und einer Aufzählung der gesamten PRAKLA-SEISMOS-Aktivitäten.

Die Ausstellung wurde vom Bürgermeister von Bordeaux, dem ehemaligen französischen Ministerpräsidenten Chaban-Delmas sowie Prinz Bernhard der Niederlande eröffnet. Das nebenstehende Bild zeigt Prinz Bernhard beim Besuch des PRAKLA-SEISMOS-Standes. Die gesamte Ausstellungsfläche war nur ein kleiner Teil der riesigen Ausstellungshalle mit den imponierenden Abmessungen 850 x 60 m.

Gesellschaftlicher Höhepunkt der Oceanexpo 74 war ein Empfang von Monsieur Chaban-Delmas im Rathaus von Bordeaux mit anschließendem Balletabend im historischen "Grand Theatre". Gezeigt wurde "Cendrillon" (Aschenputtel) von Sergej Prokofieff. Außerdem wurden alle Kongreßteiinehmer und Aussteller zu einem Abendessen in ein idyllisches Weinschloß in der Nähe von Bordeaux eingeladen. Interessante Gespräche mit Besuchern aus verschiedenen eropäischen Ländern lassen erwarten, daß unsere Aktivität auf dem Verkaufssektor Meerestechnik weiter ausgebaut werden kann.

OCEANEXPO

As one year ago at the INTEOCEAN' 73 in Düsseldorf, the PRAKLA-SEISMOS sales-department participated with an exhibition booth at the OCEANEXPO in Bordeaux from October 1st to 6th, 1974.

Shown was the marine technology sales program on display boards as: the integrated navigation and data acquisition system with automatie ship's steering " INDAS", a data acquisition system for hydrographie surveys in two versions i. e. with and without on-line data processing as weil as a model of our RV "PROSPEKTA". Further information was given with pictures and descriptions of the KPUB Seismic and Rasterplotter, the ANA-system and a listing of the complete activities of PRAKLA-SEISMOS.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the mayor of Bordeaux, the former French Prime Minister Mr. Chaban-Delmas and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands. Shown on the picture is Prince Bernhard visiting the PRAKLA-SEISMOS booth.

The exhibition-area was only a small part of the huge exhibition hall with the imposing size of 850 x 60 m. The top meeting of the OCEANEXPO '74 was given by Mr. Chaban-Delmas at the city-hall of Bordeaux followed by the ballet "Cendrillon" by Serge Prokofieff in the historical "Grand Theatre".

Furthermore· all members of the congress and the exhibitors were invited to a dinner in a picturesque chateau near Bordeaux.

Interesting discussions with visitors from various european countries let us hope that the sales department's activity in the field of marine technology can be increased.
